Job Title: Transformer Assembler

At Delta Star, we are committed to delivering innovative power solutions for utilities across North America. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of medium-power transformers, mobile transformers, and other electrical equipment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Transformer Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing electrical equipment, including transformers, under the supervision of higher-level employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test electrical equipment, including transformers, according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, including tape measures and scales, to ensure accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment to move equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Up to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and write, and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Physical ability to regularly lift and move up to 70 pounds with assistance.
