Job Summary

Delta Star, a leading manufacturer of medium power transformers, is seeking a skilled Transformer Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing transformers to meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test transformers according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate various machinery and equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks.
  • Use precision tools and instruments to measure and inspect transformer components.
  • Collaborate with production team members to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
  • Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure compliance with ISO 9000-related procedures.
Requirements
  • Up to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and write and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Physical Demands
  • Able to regularly lift and move up to 70 pounds with assistance.
  • Able to climb ladders and use fall protection equipment.
