Program Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Specialist to join our team at Resources for Human Development (RHD) Boston. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree or above in a relevant field and at least 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
Job Summary:
The Program Specialist is responsible for providing support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including ensuring their health, safety, and growth. This includes overseeing the quality of programmatic, health, and facilitative services, as well as coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that the needs of individuals served are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and complete paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
- Input incident reports into EIM and participate in audits to ensure license requirements are met.
- Maintain client files, develop ISP's, and coordinate community resources.
- Train direct care staff and mentor them in day-to-day implementation and documentation.
- Create an environment that empowers individuals through skill development and resource coordination.
- Advocate for consumers and monitor ISP progress.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or above from an accredited college or university (Special Education desired) and 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to complete reporting requirements.
- Willingness to maintain a minimum of 24 hours of in-service training per calendar year.

Salary:
$50,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience.
