Job Title: Systems Engineer

Orbis Operations is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing complex systems to meet the needs of our government customer.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with experience in developing detailed design and associated deliverables. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that systems are designed and implemented to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement solutions to meet technical specifications and standards.
  • Gather and analyze user or client requirements to determine system objectives and constraints.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues or inefficiencies during the testing phase.
  • Pursue different technologies as directed by the Sponsor.
  • Document design plans, technical specifications, user manuals, and system configurations.
  • Identify potential risks or vulnerabilities within the system and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Systems Engineer role in the IC.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • TS/SCI with polygraph.
Desired Skills
  • Demonstrated experience developing accessibility standards.
  • Demonstrated recent experience with the Sponsor's suite of applications providing repository and search services that enables Sponsor to find the information they need.
