Job Title: Senior GEOINT Radar Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GEOINT Radar Systems Engineer to join our team at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA). As a key member of our Space and Intelligence Division, you will be responsible for providing Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) support for GEOINT (RADAR and/or EO) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in systems engineering and lifecycle readiness activities for established and emerging GEOINT systems.
  • Ensure integration and closure activities for the GEOINT domain are identified and accomplished.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, CONOPs, architecture products, system schedules, and risks.
  • Support test and verification strategy and system integration of new initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities.
  • Lead various system readiness events and participate in independent review teams.
  • Interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and facilitate risk and action closure with Acquisition Offices and users.

Requirements:

  • 10-12 years of experience with BS/BA or 8-10 years with MS or 5-7 years with PhD in a relevant field.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
  • 8 or more years' experience with space/ground systems and systems engineering.
  • Strong leadership experience to include managing technical and matrixed teams.
  • Integration and Closure experience within overall customer domain, Tech Insertion experience.
  • Strong business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environment.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives to learn and collaborate with others.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of GEOINT systems and overall space and ground architecture.
  • Expertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance assessment.
  • Experience with Mission Planning, Control or Processing functions in support of space and ground architecture.
  • Experience identifying user & enterprise needs/requirements and gap identification, analysis and assessment.
  • Experience in supporting Requirements Engineering, CONOPs development, and system integration to accommodate the End-to-End GEOINT Systems Engineering.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with MBSE, SysML, and digital tools is desired.
  • BS in engineering, physics or related technical degree.
  • NRO experience.
