As a key member of our clinical team, the Nurse Care Coordinator will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with daily operations. Key Responsibilities- Support the manager in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and service administration.
- Assist with the selection, supervision, and development of nursing personnel.
- Collaborate with the manager to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Round on patients, staff, and physicians to gain insight into patient care and department operations.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers.
- Assist in identifying expected outcomes and evaluating progress towards goal attainment.
- Perform nursing care, assist with treatments, and administer medications as necessary.
- Coordinate patient flow and staffing through continuous assessment of volume and acuity needs.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- Minimum two years of nursing experience preferred.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- BSN required.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider status according to the American Heart Association.
- Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam.
