Estimated Salary Range:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement evidence-based educational programs for nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers
  • Collaborate with other nurse educators and leaders to ensure high-quality educational programs are delivered throughout the health system
  • Facilitate licensed nursing orientation and support newly licensed nurses through residency programs
  • Document competencies and create classes in the McLeod Health LMS
  • Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives and promote high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina by the South Carolina Board of Nursing
  • BLS Provider and Instructor required within one year of hire; ACLS Provider and Instructor required within one year of hire; PALS Provider and Instructor required within one year of hire
