Job Title: Staff Accountant

At DENTALEZ, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger, adhering to accounting principles and standards.
  • Perform various account reconciliations, analyzing discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze financial transactions with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise explanations of financial data.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end GL closing activities, ensuring timely completion and accuracy of financial statements.
  • Prepare documents for audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Analyze budgets and expense reports, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations, staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and laws.
  • Identify and implement accounting and finance process improvements, enhancing efficiency and accuracy of financial transactions and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting.
  • One to Three years of experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Applications, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of Oracle application and Qlik is a plus.
