Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed School Clinician to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a School-Based Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing clinical services to students in the Norristown Schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students based on referral from school district staff.
  • Develop and implement prevention and case management services to individuals in schools.
  • Collaborate with school staff to provide training and information sessions on mental health awareness and risk factors.
  • Accurately enter service documentation into the electronic health record and data into required reporting systems within established time-frames.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and prevention services.
  • Develop strong working relationships with schools through respectful communication and accountability.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related human services discipline.
  • Must have completed a practicum and be licensed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
