Job Summary

At MetroWest Medical Center, we are committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive care to our community. We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will be responsible for monitoring services and providing community support services and therapeutic services. You will work in a person-centered, supportive, community-based environment, utilizing your knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness, and medications to provide exceptional care. Regular supervision will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor services and provide community support services and therapeutic services
• Utilize knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness, and medications to provide exceptional care
• Work in a person-centered, supportive, community-based environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent
• Experience working in a mental health setting
