Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Clinical Skills and Experiential Learning to join our team at Hofstra University. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of clinical skills and experiential learning programs, ensuring that they are aligned with the university's mission and goals. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative professional to make a meaningful contribution to the education and development of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement clinical skills and experiential learning programs that are aligned with the university's mission and goals.
- Faculty Support: Provide support and guidance to faculty members in the development and implementation of clinical skills and experiential learning programs.
- Student Evaluation and Assessment: Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of clinical skills and experiential learning programs, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to ensure that clinical skills and experiential learning programs are aligned with the university's mission and goals.
- Master's Degree: A master's degree in nursing, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant experience, including program management experience in a hospital setting.
- Licensure: An unencumbered New York State license as a registered nurse is required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, as well as strong project management skills, including the ability to take initiative and ownership of projects, prioritize and multi-task.
