Job Summary:

This position oversees a team of customer service representatives and a program specialist, responsible for the operational processing of vital records functions. The position supervises staff providing direct services to the Bureau of Vital Records (BVR) customers, managing a high volume of customer applications, phone calls, and email inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff to ensure timely application review, user requests, issuance, and services to BVR customers.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and desk manuals to reflect best practices.
  • Develop and disseminate program standards to adhere to state requirements.
  • Review monitoring and evaluation results and develop recommendations for program change.
  • Provide training to new staff and review staff work products for accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience managing subordinate staff in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Valid level one fingerprint clearance card issued pursuant to A.R.S. §36-113.
