We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinic Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Los Angeles Christian Health Centers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive medical care to our patients, working closely with staff physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Care Provision: Assess patient needs, compile care plans, and provide treatment and interventions as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with staff physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient medical history, exam findings, assessment, treatment, and education.
- Specialized Care: Perform in-office procedures such as incision and drainage, arthrocentesis, nail removal, skin biopsy, and cryotherapy as needed.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities, including teaching other providers, implementing team-based care, and evaluating clinical performance measures.
- Education and Licensure: Licensed to practice medicine in California as a Physician Assistant or as a Nurse Practitioner with Furnishing Number.
- Experience: Two to three years of healthcare experience, with a focus on primary care and patient-centered medical home models.
- Skills and Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
