Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Elevator Worker to join our team at ADM. As an Elevator Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our elevators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload trucks, railcars, and barges
  • Operate heavy machinery, including skidsteers, wheel loaders, and forklifts
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, such as mowing, snow removal, and site cleanup
  • Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel, and supervisors as needed
  • Operate equipment
Requirements:
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture
  • Understanding and adherence to company safety procedures
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Able to meet physical requirements of the position, including prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, from heights and above/near water, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc), and lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Willingness to work shifts with variable start times, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Demonstrated initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed
  • Professional image and positive attitude at all times
