About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Elevator Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Grand Ledge, MI location. As an Elevator Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on elevators, as well as assisting with the installation and testing of new equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on elevators, including lubricating moving parts, inspecting and replacing worn-out components, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Assist with the installation and testing of new elevator equipment, including hoists, motors, and control systems.
  • Collaborate with operations personnel and maintenance personnel to ensure seamless elevator operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent is preferred.
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture and understanding of company safety procedures.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Willingness to work shift with variable start time, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed.
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times and maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
