Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to established policies and procedures, always acting safely.
  • Engage in physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
  • Operate both light and heavy machinery, utilizing various hand tools and powered industrial equipment.
  • Wear and properly utilize a range of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and protective clothing.
  • Work in diverse temperature conditions, both indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather.
  • Handle environments with potential exposure to various chemical and physical agents, some of which may be hazardous.
  • Manage elevated noise levels and confined spaces, including lifting in low-clearance areas.
  • Work at heights, including the use of ladders and scaffolding.
  • Assist with field sampling and calibration of measurement devices.
  • Climb into and out of trucks, tanks, and other containers as required.
  • Be prepared for extended work periods exceeding 8 hours.
  • Participate in all compliance and safety meetings.
  • Inspect containers for integrity and compliance with regulations.
  • Safely load and unload both hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
  • Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling as necessary.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Safely operate vehicles in compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation and other regulatory requirements.
  • Follow all corporate operational guidelines and procedures.
  • Observe all company environmental health and safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating schedule.
  • Engage in site restoration, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials handling as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands outlined in the Key Responsibilities.
  • This role includes emergency response duties; being on-call is a condition of employment, with potential weekend and holiday work.
  • Successfully pass a background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
  • Meet facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Previous relevant labor experience is advantageous.
