Key Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently gather and input patient demographic and insurance data into the system.
2. Confirm eligibility and limitations of benefits for patients.
3. Coordinate benefits and assess patient financial responsibilities at the time of service.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including medical necessity determinations and HIPAA regulations.

Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with patients, their families, healthcare providers, and colleagues. Providing exceptional customer service is a fundamental aspect of this position.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in healthcare or business is preferred.
- Certification in Healthcare Access is a plus.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous.
- Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred.
- Ability to solve analytical problems and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
