Orthopedic Nurse Residency Program

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our hospital.
About the RoleThe Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital will be responsible for independently planning and providing professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to promote the health and well-being of our patients, while also advancing your own professional development and expertise.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of nursing.
- Contribute to the growth and success of Northside Hospital by participating in quality improvement initiatives and sharing your expertise with colleagues.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Less than one year of experience as a registered professional nurse.
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS).
- BSN degree preferred.
- Other preferred RN attributes are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.
