About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in Texas. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various medium and heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
  • Perform hands-on work including engine repair, fuel system maintenance, and component installation.
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections and maintenance checks to keep our fleet in top condition.
  • Provide excellent customer support through road calls and emergency services.
  • Assist in training new employees and maintain effective communication with the Equipment Service Manager.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in construction rental or equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to read schematics and perform computer-assisted troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds and have full use of arms and hands for tool operation.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required, with a valid driver's license.
