About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced licensed psychologist to join our team as a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct psychological services, including comprehensive assessments, evaluations, treatment, and consultation, to adults at our Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct mental health care to adults, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Consult with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Engage in research, teaching, and supervision in the medical school setting
  • Develop and implement individual intervention plans
  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for adult patients
Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
  • Licensure in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
  • Experience working with adults with mental health concerns
  • Interdisciplinary consultation and collaboration skills
  • Individual and group therapy skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individual intervention plans
  • Psychological assessment and evaluation skills for adult patients
  • Experience in training other professionals and trainees
  • Skills to complete consultations and required documentation
  • Competent communication and writing skills
  • Flexibility and ability to organize and manage time independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with medical professionals
  • Experience participating as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Experience in supervision and teaching
