Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at the County of Del Norte, CA. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Branch, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision, leadership, and guidance to our licensed clinicians and interns. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision to licensed clinicians and interns, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to deliver exceptional services.
  • Lead and manage a team of clinicians, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and services are provided to our clients.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of our services and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to enhance our services and programs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, marriage and family counseling, social work, psychiatric nursing, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a licensed marriage, family and child counselor, clinical psychologist, or clinical social worker in the State of California.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Behavioral Health Clinician II, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services and leading teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations and develop effective solutions.
