About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission team at Peraton. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of data systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Data Requirements Analysis

You will analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop data requirements specifications.

System Design and Development

You will analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities, guiding users in formulating requirements and advising alternative approaches and conducting feasibility studies.

Technical Leadership

You will provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, assisting in the development of technical documentation and interacting with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations.

Communication and Collaboration

You will communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives, coordinating across teams that leverage multiple development methodologies.

Qualifications
  • Education and Experience

You must have a Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 20 years of general systems engineering experience, or a Master's degree or PhD in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 18 years of general systems engineering experience, or a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 24 years of general systems engineering experience.

Skills and Abilities

You must possess an instinctive aptitude to leverage information and knowledge sharing networks and navigate conflict in a way that fosters constructive outcomes, be able to work in a team-oriented environment, and have the flexibility to support various stakeholders.

Clearance and Security

You must have a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and be able to support management in the planning, de-confliction, and deployment of SIGINT systems for operations in coordination with supported government customer and other government department and agency partners.
