At ST2 ManTech Advanced Systems Intl, we're seeking a highly skilled Storage Engineer/Administrator to join our team in the DMV area. This role offers opportunities for advancement and the chance to work on innovative projects that protect our national security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain data storage systems to ensure efficient and reliable data storage.
  • Monitor and optimize storage system performance to improve data access and retrieval.
  • Implement data protection mechanisms to ensure data availability and integrity.
  • Assess storage capacity requirements based on data growth projections and needs.
Requirements:
  • High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree.
  • A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). DoD 8570.01-2 years of position-specific relevant experience. DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of various vendor storage management applications, such as NetApp, NOM, and OCI.
  • Strong working knowledge in basic storage fundamentals with an understanding of major networking concepts.
  • Experience with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI.
Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
