We are looking for a highly skilled PR Specialist to join our Devices and Services PR team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing communications programs that engage tech media and influencers.
Your primary focus will be on defining and executing communications strategies that drive thought leadership and storytelling opportunities across channels. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop cross-channel communications plans that meet business objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communications programs geared towards tech media and influencers
- Collaborate with stakeholders and brands to develop cross-channel communications plans
- Regularly interact with business and marketing teams to plan launches and mitigate risk
- Develop and maintain relationships with key technology journalists, influencers, and analysts
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in developer, enterprise, or B2B communications
- Experience working with the media to place stories and drive coverage
Estimated Salary: $113,250/year, which takes into account the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Amazon offers a competitive total compensation package that includes equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
