Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to the electrical engineering team
  • Support NPI/IB/ATD programs/projects with the appropriate resources and skill sets

  • Develop and implement best practices and processes to enhance team productivity and efficiency
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop the electrical engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Support technical reviews, design evaluations, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the development of product roadmaps, identifying opportunities for innovation and driving the adoption of emerging technologies
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field)
  • Minimum of 5 years of RF experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical device product development experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of project leadership experience
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., IEC, FDA, ISO)
  • Proven leadership experience in leading and mentoring technical teams
  • Demonstrated people management skills
Desired Characteristics
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering
  • 7 years relevant RF experience
  • Design experience in Phased arrays, Tx/Rc coils for MRI
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated supplier and manufacturing interface skills
  • Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent communication, influencing skills, and ability to gain buy-in
  • Proven LEAN skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results while supporting multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing, and quality of outcomes
