Job Title: Public Health Nurse

Job Summary:

The Public Health Nurse will provide professional nursing care to individuals and communities, focusing on prevention, health promotion, and disease prevention. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care to individuals and communities, focusing on prevention, health promotion, and disease prevention.
  • Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and prevent disease.
  • Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify health needs and develop plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with community partners to develop and implement health initiatives.
  • Provide education and support to individuals and families on healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license.
  • CPR certification.
  • One year of experience in public health nursing or a related field.
