About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled TPA Relations Coordinator to join our team at Principal Financial Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with Third Party Administrator (TPA) firms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a point of contact for TPA firms, providing technical assistance and marketing best practices to support their day-to-day activities.
  • Market new services and processes to TPAs to increase satisfaction with the Principal Financial Group and participate in projects and workgroups providing expertise on TPA.
  • Provide service to existing TPA firms via phone, email, and web conferences.
  • Encourage use of our company products and services to build and retain TPA block business, while ensuring a consistent message about our capabilities.
  • Assist in identifying solutions that meet a TPA firm's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Participate in meetings with Retirement plan service representatives, marketers, and TPAs, and present a professional image of the company.
  • Identify case-specific situations and collaborate with client-facing service teams for resolution.
  • Identify training needs to partner with leaders for continuing education.
  • Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 8 years.
  • 2+ years of related work experience.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills required.
  • Business unit knowledge.
  • Must have problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Requires basic computer and business unit software skills.
