Advanced Practice Provider for HPB Surgery

Banner University Medicine Tucson is seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to enhance their thriving Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Division at Banner University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT). BUMCT boasts a robust surgical oncology program, focusing on both malignant and benign HPB conditions. The HPB Surgery practice is expanding, with patients typically requiring hospitalization for 5-10 days. This role emphasizes daily management of inpatients and fostering effective communication during the transition from inpatient to outpatient care.
The selected candidate will collaborate closely with attending surgeons, residents, inpatient nursing staff, and outpatient advanced practice providers/nurses/medical assistants. Responsibilities include addressing acute inpatient concerns and ensuring seamless continuity of care from diagnosis through postoperative follow-up.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Possession of current Board Certification, DEA license, and BLS certification is essential.
- Graduate degree from an accredited ACNP/PA program is required.
- Experience in oncology is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts.
Location: Banner University Medical Center Tucson.
