Join Our Team at Banner Health as we seek skilled Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to enhance our dynamic Neurosurgery Department. Our institution is recognized as a premier Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care with compassion and expertise.
As an APP, you will engage in continuous professional development while playing a vital role in the clinical management of patients undergoing neurological surgery. Your responsibilities will encompass performing both therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing education and consultation to our diverse patient population.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Current PA/NP Board Certification is required.
- Possession of a DEA license, along with BLS, CPR, and ACLS certifications.
- Experience in direct patient care, both inpatient and outpatient.
- Ability to assist in Neurosurgery procedures.
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to learning in an academic setting.
Work Schedule:
- Focus on Quality of Life.
- Two full days dedicated to clinic work, complemented by two 12-hour inpatient shifts.
- Availability for nights and weekends is necessary.
