Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in HPB Surgery

Banner Health is seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our busy Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Division at Banner University Medical Center Tucson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our complex surgical oncology practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily inpatient management and improve communication during the transition of care from inpatient to outpatient settings.
- Work collaboratively with a team of attending surgeons, residents, inpatient nurses, and outpatient APPs/nurses/MAs to manage acute inpatient problems and provide continuity across the continuum of care.
- Function in a largely inpatient role to support HPB patients throughout their surgical experience and the transition of care from inpatient to outpatient.
- Current Board Certification, DEA license, and BLS certification are required.
- Graduate degree from an accredited ACNP/PA program.
- Oncology experience is preferred, but not required.
