Position Overview:
The Events Operations Manager at Hyatt is responsible for overseeing the hiring, training, and management of the catering and convention services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of group business and social events, including weddings and other significant gatherings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the catering/convention services managers to deliver exceptional service.
- Manage specific administrative tasks and provide supervisory support to various segments of the Event department, such as Meeting Connections and Administrative Assistants.
- Achieve sales targets and ensure the seamless planning and execution of events.

Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for meeting the needs of clients in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in general computer applications.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Hotel Event Sales or Event Planning.
- CMP Certification is preferred.
- Completion of Hyatt Sales training, including PSS and PSN or equivalent, is desirable.
- Willingness to relocate as needed.
