Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for clients.
- Work with the service coordinator in developing service plans for the client.
- Follow protocols regarding medication administration and treatments per physicians' orders.
- Notify physicians of all incidents, changes in condition, and need for evaluation of all medications or other treatment in a timely manner.
- Communicate clearly and directly with staff and assist them as needed in performing all aspects of their job.
- Act as a liaison with the physician, client, and all members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Complete incident reports, medication error reports, and drug reaction reports in a timely manner per protocol.
- LPT Licensed Psychiatric Technician
- Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution.
- Clinical competencies must be current
- Valid Photo ID Driver's License or Passport (Required)
- Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association
- Possess a current and valid license issued by the California State Board of LPT license (Required)
- Health Insurance / Quarterly Bonus
- 40hrs paid sick time
- Payroll - Weekly direct deposit
- Paid Pre-Employment Testing
