Key Responsibilities

The Operational Excellence Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating and supporting various departments and programs to enhance operational performance. This position is responsible for:

- Planning, organizing, and overseeing business operations activities.

- Managing reporting and analytics, financial and performance management, supply and inventory oversight, quality monitoring, and budgeting/planning.

- Assisting in strategic planning and growth initiatives, as well as tactical approaches to implement operational plans.

- Collaborating with regional, midwest, and enterprise department resources, alongside shared service resources in finance, supply chain, quality/safety, and human resources.

- Engaging in charge champion activities and regulatory reporting, while providing analytics to support departmental goals.

- Continuously evaluating processes for effectiveness and efficiency, while contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

- Participating in meetings, work sessions, and presentations to ensure effective communication.

- Involvement in program strategy, planning, implementation, and metric coordination.

Qualifications


A Bachelor's Degree in management, business administration, healthcare administration, clinical care, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Essential skills include:

- Proficiency in clinical practice/operations, data management, and project management.

- Ability to analyze and present operational data effectively.

- Familiarity with various software applications, including spreadsheets and database systems.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and clinical professionals.

- Critical and strategic thinking capabilities.

- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

- Previous experience in billing, accounting, or finance within a healthcare context is preferred.

- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage a diverse workload of projects and assignments with competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Initiative in developing and implementing innovative solutions to address significant operational and financial challenges is essential.

Familiarity with performance metrics, planning, and resource development is also important.

Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities, are required.
