Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at JetBlue Airways. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely filing of regulatory reports, generating consolidated financial statements, and performing complex accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of financial reports with regulatory bodies, including the SEC and DOT.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial data, including cash flow statements and internal financial statements.
  • Perform complex accounting tasks, such as investments and stock compensation.
  • Research and resolve technical accounting issues.
  • Assist with the implementation of new financial reporting requirements and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate.
  • Three years of experience in a related field, including public accounting or financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory and US GAAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in public accounting or financial reporting.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
