Financial Solutions Senior Analyst

The Financial Solutions Senior Analyst is a pivotal professional who remains informed about advancements within their domain and contributes to the strategic direction by evaluating their relevance to their role and the organization. Acknowledged as a technical expert in a specific area within the organization, this role necessitates a fundamental understanding of commercial dynamics. Typically, there are several individuals within the organization who possess the same level of subject matter expertise. Enhanced communication and negotiation skills are essential to guide, influence, and persuade others, particularly colleagues from different departments and occasional external clients. The role has a significant impact on the area through intricate deliverables. This position provides counsel and guidance related to the technology or operations of the organization. The work influences an entire sector, ultimately affecting the overall performance and efficiency of the sub-function/job family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the requirements and implementation of a new workflow tool that streamlines the daily production of various liquidity reports, collaborating with different production and technology teams.
- Contributes to the design, deployment, and governance of financial solutions, including:
- Engaging in the formulation and establishment of strategic direction for processes, organization, and architecture concerning Finance across various business units, products, functions, and locations.
- Assisting in defining business and information architecture standards for Finance.
- Participating in the establishment and operation of necessary forums and frameworks to create and oversee policies and standards for global Finance processes.
- Involved in evaluating and integrating evolving business, regulatory, and market information needs into finance processes and applications.
- A strategic professional who provides insights on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application within their role and the organization.
- Acts as a technical authority who advises on significant business/product decisions.
- Implements policies and procedures effectively.
- Performs additional duties and functions as assigned.
- Possesses the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Exhibits independence of judgment and autonomy.
- Serves as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
- Evaluates risks when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the organization's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues transparently.
Qualifications:
- 6-10+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Recognized as a technical authority in a specific area within the organization.
- Requires strong communication and negotiation skills to guide and influence others.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated with the capability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- In-depth knowledge of banking products/systems is preferred.

- Bachelor's degree, potentially a Master's degree.

$142,000 - $213,480.00In addition to salary, the organization may offer discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
