Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will play a crucial role in financial and operational analysis, providing guidance, communicating processes, and reporting results to both field teams and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders on financial and operational reporting to align financial objectives with corporate planning.
  • Assist in the development of the annual plan and monthly forecasts in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Enhance existing forecasting processes and models.
  • Create analytics and ad hoc reports that deliver critical insights into the efficiency of various functional areas and expenditures.
  • Master a variety of financial systems and processes to offer support and training as required.
  • Evaluate current processes, tools, and deliverables for effectiveness and user-friendliness.
  • Utilize data for annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and quarterly close processes.
  • Modify and adapt current PowerBI models to meet immediate needs.

Qualifications:
  • 2-5+ years of proven experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across various management levels.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ideal candidate is a highly motivated strategic thinker capable of navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
  • A background in real estate is advantageous.
  • Basic proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data extraction tools such as ESSBASE or Google LOOKER.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like PowerBI, Cognos, Tableau, or similar.

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $83,000 and $102,000, with actual pay varying based on factors such as location and experience.
