Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Financial Analyst to become a vital member of our accounting department. This position entails overseeing financial information related to our property assets, necessitating strong analytical capabilities and a thorough knowledge of property financial management principles.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and process SOS Billings.
  • Evaluate BOI reports to derive insights on property income.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial records for properties.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Work collaboratively with property managers and other departments to address discrepancies.
  • Monitor tenant account balances and ensure prompt payments.
  • Generate financial statements and reports for review.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property accounting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP and property management standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with property management software solutions.
  • CPA or relevant professional certification.
  • Familiarity with SOS Billing and BOI reporting processes.
