Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Level II

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer Level II to join our team in Sacramento, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly competent Cardiac Sonographer Level II to perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology, as well as excellent communication skills to explain sensitive information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including echocardiography machines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program or equivalent education.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification or equivalent.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in cardiac sonography.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
