Position Overview
We are in search of a detail-oriented individual to join our credit department as a Junior Credit Analyst. This role involves working under direct supervision to assist in the evaluation of applications and credit limit requests for both consumer and commercial credit loans, adhering to established lending policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analyses of credit information related to new and existing loans.
- Investigate various sources of credit and financial data.
- Prepare comprehensive credit assessments to evaluate customers' creditworthiness and repayment capabilities.
- Maintain high service standards for loan administration and support loan officers.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
- Complete credit underwriting documentation of varying complexity as required.
- Provide ongoing guidance and training to all levels of Credit Analysts through daily on-the-job training.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with at least 9 credit hours in accounting.
- Previous experience as a credit analyst in a financial institution is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform tasks under direct supervision and manage basic issues, escalating more complex matters to senior staff.
- A self-starter with excellent time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Capable of multitasking and meeting multiple deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with lending laws and regulations is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of various financial documents, including tax returns and financial statements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with financial spreading software is a plus.
