Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Day Program Assistant. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in our Day Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence, choice, and empowerment.
  • Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in all aspects of their lives, including personal care and transportation.
  • Transport individuals between their homes and the Day Program using a company passenger van.
  • Participate in community outings, providing transportation and assistance to individuals served.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fewer than 6 points in the last two years on your motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs. and climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.
