Program Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at American Systems. As a key contributor to our employee-owned company, you will work with advanced, innovative technology and collaborate with a team of engaged, highly knowledgeable professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a Secret clearance or higher and at least 10 years of project management experience. Additionally, they should have demonstrated experience managing a team of 25 or more personnel and have a strong background in supporting submarine modernizations and in-service updates.

Responsibilities of the Program Manager will include managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they align with Navy goals and objectives in support of Program Management Office. The successful candidate will also be responsible for organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.

Key qualifications for the Program Manager role include:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 10 years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated 1 year experience managing a team of 25 or more personnel
  • 1 or more years of experience with supporting submarine modernizations and in-service updates
  • 1 or more years of experience with platform installation coordination, scheduling, and hardware/software deliveries
