Proctors for Physician Assistant Program

As a Proctor for the Physician Assistant Program at Touro University, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our academic programs. You will work closely with course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums, as well as provide support to students receiving disability-related accommodations.
Responsibilities
• Proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums
• Provide support to students receiving disability-related accommodations
• Familiarize yourself with academic integrity protocols, including distance, seating, and focused attention policies
• Be able to confront and report suspected behaviors allegedly in violation of integrity rules
Qualifications
• Sensitivity in communications with faculty, students, and other staff
• Ability to follow integrity protocols
• Comfortable with occasional need to confront and report suspicious behavior
• Collaborative working style
• Work experience in any educational or administrative capacity
Work Conditions
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
• Extensive time sitting and standing
