About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Client Service Representative to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Provide warm and welcoming greetings to clients and their pets, guiding them to exam rooms and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain a well-organized workspace, handle sensitive client situations with professionalism, and maintain good working relationships with team members and leaders.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patient appointments, assist clients with understanding financial aspects of their visit, process payments and insurance claims, and help clients select the right products and services for their pets.
  • Education and Communication: Educate clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care, handle inbound and outbound client calls, and provide clear and concise information to clients.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and be flexible with scheduling to meet the needs of our clients and their pets.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year of customer service experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and flexibility with scheduling.
