Job Summary:

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Service Representative to join our team. As the face of our hospital, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Service: Greet visitors warmly, guide clients and their pets to exam rooms, and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patient appointments, assist clients with understanding financial aspects of their visit, and process payments and insurance claims.
  • Product and Service Sales: Help clients select the right products and services for their individual pet, and educate them on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
  • Communication: Handle inbound and outbound client calls, and maintain good working relationships with team members and leaders.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform light cleaning and organization of retail displays, and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year of customer service experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work evening shifts.
