Role Summary:
Mirus Bio is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to enhance our Quality Team. This role is integral to ensuring quality assurance, document management, and monitoring activities. Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, the technician will collaborate closely with various departments including Quality, Operations, Production, and Shipping. Attention to detail and adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assurance evaluations of kitting and dispensing records following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Assist in the management of Mirus Bio documentation, including scanning and maintaining quality records both onsite and for offsite storage.
  • Verify the accuracy and legibility of final product labels for production and shipping, ensuring complete product traceability.
  • Oversee compliance with procedural requirements for quality operations, including lab cleanings, equipment calibrations, and preventative maintenance, while coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Support the Quality, Production, and Shipping teams in executing straightforward cross-functional processes.
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams to remove obstacles and ensure alignment with both upstream and downstream partners.
  • Adapt swiftly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines.
  • Adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to ensure compliance in all assigned duties.
  • Follow Biological Safety Level 2 (BSL-2) guidelines and standard laboratory practices to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships in all internal and external interactions.
  • Exhibit behaviors consistent with the Mirus Bio Employee Handbook.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Quality Manager.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.

Professional Experience:

  • Proven experience in maintaining quality assurance within a process.
  • Ability to work meticulously and systematically, making critical observations and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in collaborative team environments.
  • Ability to perform laboratory tasks and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Compensation:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $25, based on experience.
