Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams to comprehend product specifications and devise testing strategies.
  • Create and sustain automated test scripts utilizing suitable tools and frameworks.
  • Incorporate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflow.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability following updates.
  • Evaluate test outcomes and provide actionable feedback to the development team.
  • Continuously enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Guide and mentor junior QA team members as necessary.
Qualifications:

Essential:
  • Demonstrated experience as a QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automated testing.
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in crafting and executing manual test cases.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Ruby) for automation.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Preferred:
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools.
  • Understanding of security testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
