Quality Assurance Process Specialist

Total Water Treatment Systems, Inc. is actively seeking two dedicated Quality Assurance Process Specialists to join our team. This role is essential in preparing tanks utilized for water filtration systems catering to commercial and industrial clients.

This position is based out of our facility in Madison, WI. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from 5am to 1:30pm or 12:30pm to 9pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Regeneration Tasks:

  1. Adhere to company standards for the DI Plant.
  2. Implement safety protocols, including eye and foot protection, chemical handling safety, and proper lifting techniques.
  3. Conduct regeneration processes involving weak base, mixed bed, cation, carbox, personal exchange tanks, iron filters, Wisconsin cartridges, and bacteria sampling.
  4. Maintain daily logs, perform computer data entry, and complete administrative tasks related to daily operations.
  5. Follow all Quality System Regulations pertaining to DI regeneration.
  6. Utilize reports to monitor and track equipment performance.
  7. Label PE, DI, Carbox, and Carbon tanks for appropriate shelving and identification.

Plant Maintenance Duties:

  1. Assist with daily shipping and receiving tasks, including handling deliveries from UPS, FedEx, and bulk chemical suppliers.
  2. Ensure the DI plant and workshop are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  3. Perform maintenance on DI plant equipment, including RO systems, DI regeneration units, and plant neutralizers.
  4. Support customers with salt and water pickups.
  5. Prepare new tanks and conduct repairs on existing tanks as necessary.
  6. Manage inventory of equipment and supplies.
  7. Clear snow and ice from doors and walkways.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Provide backup support for salt and water deliveries as needed.
  2. Facilitate deliveries to other company locations when required.

Desired Experience:

  • Previous production experience is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience is beneficial.
  • Capability to lift between 30 to 80 pounds and move up to 250 pounds with assistance.
  • Basic computer skills are helpful.
  • Mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English is required.
