Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Flood and Peterson Insurance Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, building strong relationships with our clients, and driving business growth through strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing support and service to clients, including answering insurance program questions and policy changes.
  • Oversee the servicing of a designated book of business, including marketing, claims, and administration.
  • Maintain positive relationships with client firms to ensure account retention.
  • Monitor and research market trends, carrier products, and industry information to increase knowledge and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Responsible for marketing accounts for new and renewal business, including collecting client renewal data, attending pre-renewal meetings, and negotiating terms and conditions.
  • Issue binding instructions to successful carriers and review and finalize proposals.
  • Participate in client presentations and assist with the preparation and implementation of stewardship reports and service plans.
  • Delegate all appropriate insurance tasks to Account Manager, Associate Account Manager, or Account Assistant.
  • Responsible for collection of premium and maintenance of account receivables on all assigned accounts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or four to six years of related experience and/or training.
  • Industry designation of CIC or equivalent, and a willingness to pursue additional designations as needed.
  • Possess and maintain a Colorado multiple lines license.
  • Requires current Colorado driver's license and acceptable MVR.
