Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Activities: Oversee the setup, preparation, and breakdown of kitchen operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes, using a range of cooking techniques and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to kitchen staff, ensuring that they are aware of workplace expectations and are equipped to perform their duties to the highest standard.
- Quality Control: Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standard, meeting the quality and consistency expectations of our customers.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations and guidelines.
