Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a vital role in our outpatient ambulatory care teams, providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for the acute and chronic needs of patients from newborn to elderly.
  • Perform annual physical exams and manage the health maintenance needs of our family medicine population.
  • Perform asynchronous care through inbasket management.
  • Perform routine clinical procedures independently, including wart removal, pap smears, IUD removal, IUD/Nexplanon placement, and skin lesion removals.
  • Complete inbasket work.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program (for Nurse Practitioners) or Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program (for Physician Assistants).
  • Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience.
  • State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.
  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (for Nurse Practitioners).
  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (for Physician Assistants).
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
